The Farmingdale Adult Day Care Center (FADC) is an interfaith service for the residents of Farmingdale and the surrounding communities. It is a non-profit organization with the purpose of reaching out in support of families who are caring for the elderly living at home, especially those with physical or cognitive limitations who are no longer able to participate in their normal social groups.
Farmingdale Adult Day Care was established in 1995. We are open to members of all faiths, and guided by the cooperative efforts of Farmingdale’s clergy and congregations including

St. Kilian’s Roman Catholic Church
St. Luke’s Lutheran Church
St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church
Farmingdale Adult Day Care is a social model program. Adult day programs are usually described as either social or medical (health) model programs. Social model programs offer socialization, cultural, educational and recreational activities as well as a nutritious hot noon time meal.
